Originally built in 1922, the Gallery includes 46 units in 8 buildings on East 43rd, Oak, and McGee Streets. You can find many historic buildings and homes in Southmoreland, but the tall white pillars on our Kansas City Colonnade Buildings are a landmark of the neighborhood and represent a truly unique Kansas City architecture. The Gallery Condominiums, located in the Southmoreland neighborhood of midtown Kansas City, Missouri, were originally built in 1922 as apartments for affluent young professionals seeking refuge from a burgeoning downtown district. Perfectly located on the streetcar line, the entire neighborhood grew quickly between the late 1800s and World War II. The Gallery is now home to a diverse community of owner residents passionate about the preservation of our unique and historic buildings and committed to the revitalization of midtown Kansas City.
